The next series of Game of Thrones is due in spring – and it appears that parent network HBO are ramping up expectations already.

A new official website called ThreeEyedRaven.com appeared yesterday, promising visitors the power of “The Sight” if they signed up via text alert or Twitter (the latter is probably more practical for UK fans).

Once signed up, fans received this message:

It’s fair to assume that these “visions of the future” are tantalising glimpses of upcoming series five, though it’s unclear whether this will take the form of a new trailer or something more abstract.

It’s also worth noting that both the three-eyed raven and the sight are plotlines related to Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), who is rumoured not to be appearing in the next series at all. The video footage attached to the announcement tweet mostly concerns his sister Arya (Maisie Williams). Could the “visions” have something to do with those characters in particular?

Sadly, we can’t actually predict the future but we have the power of The Sight and promise to share everything it shows us. Watch this space.
