We all know the Game of Thrones theme tune is a catchy one.
How often have you caught yourself humming along to the title sequence or whistling it in the office the morning after a session in front of the box set? A few of us are certainly guilty of it here in the RadioTimes.com office…
Luckily (or unfortunately, depending on how tuneful your renditions are…) the recently released Game of Thrones series three soundtrack has two new and previously unheard versions of the title track to share with you.
As well as 17 other tracks from the third series, including The Bear and The Maiden Fair by The Hold Steady and It’s Always Summer Under the Sea by Kerry Ingram, the soundtrack offers Dark Wings, Dark Words, a down-tempo choir version of the theme, and For the Realm for you to sing along to.
Handily, we’ve got exclusive access to original track For the Realm for you right here, right now.
Here’s Ramin Djawadi – who composed the score for series three of the hit HBO fantasy drama – performing a rather more tranquil solo guitar version of that catchy, catchy tune…
Game of Thrones soundtrack is now available digitally, on CD and at HBOuk.com for £12
