New on Netflix UK May 2025: All the upcoming shows and films
It's another busy month for the streaming service.
As we head deeper into spring and ever closer towards summer, Netflix isn't slowing down on its output this May.
Among the buzzy new titles coming to the platform this month are star-studded comedy The Four Seasons, which stars Steve Carell, Tina Fey and Colman Domingo, as well as Sirens, starring Julianne Moore.
Elsewhere, Vince Vaughn is starring in new film Nonnas, and Matthew Goode is heading up new detective drama Dept Q.
Of course, there are plenty of returning shows to look out for as well, with a new volume of animated anthology series Love, Death + Robots on the way, alongside the eighth and final season of adult animated comedy Big Mouth.

- The Biggest Fan (2025) – Mexican comedy film about an actor who is cancelled in Hollywood and returns to her hometown.
- The Cliche (2024) – Thai romantic comedy film.
- The Four Seasons season 1 – Comedy starring Tina Fey, Steve Carell and Colman Domingo about three married couples whose friendship is tested when one of them gets divorced.
- GATAO: Like Father Like Sun (2024) – Taiwanese crime drama film.
- The Hill (2023) – Biographical sports film about a young baseball player overcoming a degenerative spinal disease, starring Dennis Quaid and Colin Ford.
- I Heard the Bells (2022) – Film about the writing of the Christmas carol of the same name by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023) – Animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie starring Ayo Edebiri, Maya Rudolph, John Cena, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Paul Rudd and more.
- Why Do I Dress Up For Love? season 1 – Japanese romantic drama series.
- You Can’t Ask That season 5 – Fifth season of the Australian docuseries offering an insight into the lives of marginalised communities.

- Bad Boy season 1 – Israeli drama series in which a comedian recounts his time in a juvenile detention centre.
- Pararescue Jumper season 1 – Japanese drama series about an instructor training an elite team of rescue operatives.
- Unseen season 2 – Second season of the South African crime thriller series.
Sunday 4th May
- Conan O’Brien: The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor (2025) – Conan O'Brien accepts the prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor surrounded by fellow comedians.
Monday 5th May
- Britain and the Blitz season 1 – Immersive history documentary series.
- Inside Man: Most Wanted (2019) – Crime thriller film about an NYPD negotiator who butts heads with the FBI.
- Mighty Monsterwheelies season 2 – Second season of the animated children's series.
Tuesday 6th May
- The Devil’s Plan: Death Room season 2 – New season of the Korean mental strategy competition show.
- Untold: Shooting Guards (2025) – Documentary about the infamous gun incident between Washington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton.
Wednesday 7th May
- Full Speed season 2 – Second season of the all-access NASCAR sports documentary.
- Last Bullet (2025) – Third and final film in the Lost Bullet series of French action films.
Thursday 8th May
- Blood of Zeus season 3 – Third season of the adult animated fantasy series.

- A Deadly American Marriage (2025) – True crime docuseries about an Irish widower who was killed by his new wife and her father, a former FBI agent, who claimed self defence.
- Nonnas (2025) – Comedy film starring Vince Vaughn and Susan Sarandon about a man who opens an Italian restaurant with grandmothers as the chefs, to honour his late mother.
- Too Hot to Handle: Italy season 1 – New Italian spin-off to the hit reality format in which all sexual contact is off the table.
- The Royals season 1 – Indian romantic comedy series about the relationship between a prince and a self-made businesswoman.

- WWE Backlash – Live WWE event.

- Tastefully Yours season 1 – Korean romantic drama about the relationship between an arrogant heir and his chef.

- Bad Thoughts season 1 – Dark sketch comedy series from Tom Segura.
- Untold: The Liver King (2025) – Documentary about Brian Johnson, known as the raw meat influencer or the liver king.
Wednesday 14th May
- American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden – Three-part docuseries about the global manhunt for Osama bin Laden.
- Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story – Docuseries about Fred and Rose West, two of the UK's most prolific murderers.

- Love, Death + Robots volume 4 – New selection of animated short films from the acclaimed anthology series.
