Lena Dunham is returning to the small screen with Netflix romantic comedy Too Much, which charts a whirlwind romance for an American woman who moves to the UK.

The series is loosely inspired by Dunham's own experience moving to London and meeting her now-husband Luis Felber, who is billed as her co-creator on Too Much.

Hacks breakout star Megan Stalter and The White Lotus alum Will Sharpe lead the cast of the series as Jessica and Felix, a mismatched pair who quickly form an intense bond.

Whether their relationship will be short and sweet or built to last remains to be seen, as work-related stress and baggage from past relationships bubble to the surface in a story of giddy highs and tough blows.
