The Fortnite Arenas mode release date is 9 April 2026, Epic Games has confirmed.

Fortnite Arenas mode: What to expect

Fortnite Arenas mode is bringing Boxfights back to the competitive, ranked offerings of the game.

According to the official Fortnite website, Arenas is "a new Ranked and build-only mode" that "dials things up with close-quarters combat. Challenge your friends to a 1v1 boxfight or battle it out in a 16-player round robin competition as a duo or solo."]

As you can see in the teaser trailer above, it looks like things will get tricky and more than a little hectic in Fortnite Arenas mode.
