Newsies: the Broadway Musical

Stage meets screen in this gorgeously mounted production of the hit Broadway musical about a group of newspaper boys who form a union to get better treatment from their bosses. There's all the gloss you'd expect from a Disney production, but the script doesn't shy away from harsh realities, either. Among the cast, Jeremy Jordan is terrific as lead "newsie" Jack Kelly, as is Kara Lindsay as the reporter covering their struggle.
