Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line-up rumours: who will be the celebrity contestants this year?

The line-up is almost complete for Strictly 2017. Here's who could be taking to the dance floor...

Paula Radcliffe

Paula Radcliffe is a sporting legend, having won the London Marathon three times. She remains the female marathon world record holder and has represented Britain at the Olympics four times. As an athlete she is also popular with the public, winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and picking up an MBE.

So is this the perfect time for her to don the lycra and sequins? Radcliffe ended her competitive running career at the 2015 London Marathon, but as an active and competitive person, Strictly could be the perfect next step.

Scarlett Moffatt

Scarlett Moffatt admitted last year that she’d been asked to do Strictly but turned it down so she could stay on Gogglebox: “I would have to choose between the two”.

But now her career has taken a new direction with I’m A Celebrity and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Virtually Famous, that is no longer an obstacle.

If Moffatt did sign up, she’d definitely be successful on the show – and possibly controversial: Moffatt was reportedly trained by Anton Du Beke when she was a child, and has shared photographs of herself from her dancing days.
