Luke Griffin – Stephen Lord

Stephen Lord has had multiple small appearances in dramas Penny Dreadful, Shameless, and Casualty. His most notable role was as Jase Dyer in Eastenders, for which he was nominated “best newcomer” at the British Soap Awards in 2008. He played Jase for a year between the summers of 2007 and 2008 before his character died in a violent gang attack.

Julie Delaney – Lynsey McLaren

The evening after an anniversary dinner with her family, mum Julie Delaney is kidnapped in a case that mirrors one of nine years earlier.

McLaren is a relatively unknown actress. Her filmography consists of nine small appearances in Hollyoaks, two in Coronation Street and a single appearance as Maurice’s Mum in the ITV drama Scott & Bailey. 

Dani Delaney – Sacha Parkinson

Dani is Julie’s young adult daughter. At the start of episode one, we see her feeling very tense during Julie and John’s anniversary dinner.

Sacha Parkinson began her career at the age of 11 in Channel 4’s The Illustrated Mum. Her most famous role is as Sian Powers in Coronation Street between 2009 and 2011. More recently, she starred as Connie Hawkins-Towler in series three and four of Mr Selfridge.
