It was the romantic decision that some fans weren't quite expecting and the one that many knew Yasmin (Marisa Abela) would go for – but it seems as though things aren't quite as idyllic as they first seemed when it comes to Yasmin's relationship with Henry Muck (Kit Harington) in Industry season 4.

The last we saw of the pair was Yasmin plainly choosing Henry over Rob (Harry Lawtey) after Yasmin and Rob admitted their love for one another mere moments prior. Henry announced his engagement to Yasmin and the sound of Rob's heart breaking will haunt fans for some episodes to come.

While it was clear that Yasmin was going to always choose landed gentry Henry over working-class Rob, it doesn't seem as though their marriage is going quite as planned.

Teasing what's to come in season 4 and where we find Yasmin at the start of it, Abela said: “Yasmin is married to Henry Muck and their relationship is spinning out of control. She is not only a wife, but essentially a caregiver to someone who resents her for needing her care."

Abela continued: "At the beginning of this season, it's like she doesn't really have much to lose if she were to walk away from Henry, other than an estate, a title and the money obviously but I mean emotionally. But Yasmin is pretty miserable, and could probably do with walking away if he doesn’t get his act together...”

The end of season 3 obviously saw Yasmin choose a life with Henry over a potential future with on-off flame Rob but now, it appears as though Yasmin could really just be a lady of leisure. However, we have some career developments to look forward to for Yasmin as she forges a new path of her own.

Abela revealed: "It was really fun to get to play Yasmin being good at her job – whether we like her methods or not she's utilising her skillset now professionally. I think that at least for a moment she is looked at as useful by those around her and that's probably the happiest that we ever get to see Yasmin, other than for a short period of time with either Harper or Robert in our earlier seasons.

"There’s a moment of glory around episodes 3 and 4 of this season where Yasmin proves herself to be very useful and there are specific characters that reflect back the version of herself that she's always wanted to see. One of those is Lord Norton and another is Whitney in. Whenever anyone says, 'Good job, Yasmin' you can see her tail wagging."

Abela bagged a BAFTA for her role as Yasmin in season 3 so the future is ever bright for the actress, especially careering into season 4, which promises to be just as dramatic and juicy as ever.

The official description for the upcoming season reads: "At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper and Yasmin are drawn into a high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene.

"As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram, their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top."

As well as Abela and Harington obviously returning as Yasmin and Henry, the new season also sees a raft of new characters including Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton, Claire Forlani (Departure) and Kal Penn (Designated Survivor), as well as The Handmaid's Tale star Max Minghella, The Last Showgirl's Kiernan Shipka, and The Serial Killer's Wife's Jack Farthing, as well as Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso) and Amy James-Kelly (Coronation Street).

Industry seasons 1-3 are available to stream on BBC iPlayer in the UK, and season 4 premieres on Monday 12th January 2026 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The drama airs on HBO in the US.
