Richard Dixon – Pettifer
Pettifer is one of Sir Stuart Strange’s closest colleagues and it’s to him the East India Company looks when their negotiations with Delaney break down
You might have spotted Dixon in ITV’s Victoria, as well as Agatha Raisin, Grantchester and The Danish Girl. The veteran actor has also had roles in Far From The Madding Crowd, Les Miserables, The King’s Speech and The Iron Lady.
Edward Hogg – Godfrey
Godfrey is the minute taker at the East India Company’s meetings, but is he taking in a lot more than his masters assume?
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell’s Segundus also appeared in Channel 4’s Indian Summers, and played Elliot (AKA Jesus Christ) from the Misfits Christmas Special. He starred as Barr in Beowulf, popped up in Jupiter Ascending and Kill Your Friends, and also gained much critical acclaim for his role as Jesco White in White Ligntnin’.
Leo Bill – Wilton
Wilton is another of the East India Company’s inner circle and works with his colleagues to try and persuade Delaney to part with Nootka Sound
Bill is probably best known for his role as the schizophrenic James in 2006 film The Living And The Dead. You might also have spotted him in Alice in Wonderland, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Pramface, The Borgias, The White Queen, Mr Turner, Alice Through the Looking Glass and A Long Way Down.
