Norman Wisdom makes his first appearance as Billy Ingleton in The Man Who Nearly Knew Pavarotti, a New Year special broadcast in January 1995. Eight episodes in series 16 followed during January and February. Foggy hypnotises himself in The Most Powerful Eyes in West Yorkshire, and in The Sweet Smell of Success, Compo uses his bed as a trampoline to get up to Nora's window, but ends up getting stuck in bed springs.
