There are some big new Netflix Original films coming to the streamer this month, including action thriller The Old Guard 2 and long-awaited comedy sequel Happy Gilmore 2.

They are joined on Netflix's schedule for this month by a number of big acquired film, with Oppenheimer, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snake and We Live in Time all being added.

Of course, there are still plenty of series on the way too, including The Sandman season 2, Lena Dunham's new show Too Much and acquired series such as Yellowstone prequel 1923.

Wednesday 2nd July

  • The Old Guard 2 (2025) – Second film in the superhero action series starring Charlize Theron, with Uma Thurman and Henry Golding joining the cast.
  • Tour de France: Unchained season 3 – Third season of the behind-the-scenes docuseries about the Tour de France.

Thursday 3rd July

  • Dandadan season 2 – New season of the Japanese anime series.
  • The Sandman season 2 part 1 – First part of the fantasy show's final season, once again starring Tom Sturridge as Dream.

Friday 4th July

  • All the Sharks season 1 – Reality competition series in which four teams of shark experts travel the world trying to find the most elusive shark species.
  • Complicit (2013) – British TV film starring David Oyelowo as an MI5 officer who travels to Egypt to question a young man he believes is planning a terrorist attack.
  • The Starling Girl (2023) – Drama film starring Eliza Scanlen as a 17-year-old girl who struggles with her religious beliefs as she is groomed by her married youth pastor, played by Lewis Pullman.

Saturday 5th July

  • The Summer Hikaru Died season 1 – Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name.
  • We Live in Time (2024) – Time-jumping romantic drama film starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh.

Monday 7th July

  • Honest Thief (2020) – Action thriller film starring Liam Neeson as a former bank robber who turns himself in to the FBI but is set up by corrupt agents.

  • Better Late Than Single season 1 – South Korean reality dating series.
  • The Cancer Conflict (2021) – Documentary about two patients who take differing approaches in trying to treat their cancer.
