Republic of Ireland travel to face Finland in the Nations League live on TV this week
Republic of Ireland travel to Scandinavia this week to continue their Nations League fixtures with a trip to Finland.
The Irish endured a disappointment last week as they lost to Slovakia on penalties in the Euro 2020 play-offs and limped to a goalless draw – with 10 men for the final moments – against Wales at the weekend.
Boss Stephen Kenny will be determined to record a first victory of their current Nations League campaign after drawing twice and losing one of their opening three matches.
Finland were the culprits in that earlier defeat as they ran out 1-0 winners in Dublin last month.
They also recorded a neat 2-0 win over Bulgaria at the weekend and can go top of their Nations League group depending on Wales' result this week.
