Former Grange Hill star Lee MacDonald, who played drug addict Zammo McGuire, is joining the cast of EastEnders, the soap has confirmed.

The actor, who appeared in the iconic BBC children’s drama between 1982 and 1987, will appear in a guest role for two episodes later this spring as bus driver Terry who competes against Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) in a competition to win tickets to a concert. With Mick desperate to get his hands on the tickets as a gift for wife Linda (Kellie Bright), will Terry stand in the way?
