The Beatles cast: Full list of confirmed actors for the four-film cinematic event
Read on to find out every actor currently confirmed for the quartet of films.

Sam Mendes's upcoming project, The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event is truly a beast the likes of which cinema has never seen before. In April 2028, four new biopics – each one focussing on a different Beatle – will release on the same day, giving fans the opportunity to binge them all in the cinema at once.
Mendes is directing all four movies, while three different writers are confirmed to be attached to the project – Jez Butterworth, Peter Straughan, and Jack Thorne.
Butterworth is a celebrated Olivier-award-winning playwright and screenwriter who worked with Mendes previously on Spectre. Straughan is fresh from a trio of wins (BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Oscar) for his screenplay for Conclave, and Thorne (Adolescence) is a prolific writer who has collaborated with Mendes in the theatre, when the latter directed his play The Motive and the Cue.
With a wealth of talent behind the scenes (including rewrites at the request of real-life Beatles), it's no surprise that fans are already itching to find out more about the project, despite the movies not coming out for another two years.
It has been confirmed already that all four Beatles will appear in all four films, and that much of the cast will be featuring across the entire quartet.

Paul Mescal plays Paul McCartney

Paul Mescal's screen career really kicked off after the success of Normal People, though his stage career prior to the 2020 series, following his stint at drama school at the prestigious Lir Academy, was already a fairly extensive one.
In the years since, Mescal has appeared in films such as Gladiator II, Aftersun, All of Us Strangers, and most recently the screen adaptation of Hamnet, for which he has already received several award nominations.
Joseph Quinn plays George Harrison

A fellow Gladiator II alum, Joseph Quinn shot to fame when he appeared as fan favourite character Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Stranger Things – and he's had a huge array of impressive big screen credits since.
In 2025 he joined the MCU with the release of Marvel's Fantastic 4: First Steps, in which he took on the role of Johnny Storm – the Human Torch, while he's also been seen in A Quiet Place: Day One and Warfare.

After first appearing as Tee Taylor in Tracy Beaker Returns and The Dumping Ground, she won much acclaim for her lead role in 2023 film How to Have Sex – which saw her named the BAFTA Rising Star – and has recently had a key role in The Seven Dials Mystery.
