Was last weekend Peter Capaldi's greatest moment in Doctor Who?

His stunning speech in The Zygon Inversion urging Zygons and humans to "break the cycle" of war was the high-point of this series – and, according to some, up there with some of the best Who scenes ever.

The scene itself plays out over ten tortuous minutes, as the Doctor, Clara, Zygon Bonnie and Kate stand over the Osgood boxes, plotting peace or destruction.

But it's Capaldi's words that hit their mark more than anything else. Here are the lines that will go down in Doctor Who history. Hope the real "peacemakers" are listening.

"Paint me a picture..."

"What are you going to do with the people like you?"

"Sit down and talk."

"No one else will ever have to feel this pain. Not on my watch."
