Top Boy and Day of the Jackal stars feature in exclusive first look at "edge-of-your-seat" new thriller series
The Nick Blood and Saffron Hocking-led thriller is coming this summer.

A new Nick Blood and Saffron Hocking-led thriller titled Hit Point is coming to our screens - and now Radio Times can share an exclusive first look at the series.
The show, which has been penned by Howard Overman (Misfits) and promises "edge-of-your-seat action, high-stakes drama, and a gripping storyline", will be released on U and U&Dave this summer.
Blood (Day of the Jackal) and Hocking (Top Boy) star as thirty-something-year-old detectives Leo (pictured above) and Bella (pictured below), whose latest case pulls them into a dangerous West London underworld.
As they hunt for answers, the lines between their personal and professional lives soon begin to blur, and "loyalty is tested secrets explode, and love might just be the most dangerous game of all", the official synopsis teases.
Alongside first-look images, a trailer has also been unveiled, showing a high-stakes chase between Leo and Bella and a bunch of masked people, in which it's unclear who's chasing and who's being chased.
The clip ends with another twist as the person behind one of the masks is revealed to be Leo. Watch the clip for yourself below:

Alongside Blood and Hocking, Hit Point also stars William Abadie (Emily in Paris) Brendan Coyle (Toxic Town), Peter Serafinowicz (The Gentlemen), Nadia Parkes (Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story) and Moe Bar-El (Alien: Earth).
Ossian Perret (The Last Kingdom) and Joshua Sher (The Undeclared War) also star, while behind the camera, the Gentleman director David Caffrey helms the project.
The series was announced last August, with Helen Perry, head of drama commissioning for UKTV, teasing "a cop show like no other", adding: "With his singular voice, Howard has crafted a tense crime thriller that's driven by a characterful will-they-won't romance. It's a distinctive genre mash-up, full of heart, humour and action-packed sequences.

"It's the perfect first scripted drama commission for U&Dave and U, and a marker of our ambition for drama on the channel."
Overman added: "We are all excited at Urban Myth Films to be teaming up with UKTV on Hit Point. It's been a joy to create a show that blends high-octane thrills with heart, humour and a love story at its core."
He added: "We have a talented crew of industry experts bringing Leo and Bella's world to life, and I can't wait for audiences to dive into the twists, turns and surprises we have in store."
As well as his part in The Day of the Jackal as Vince Pyne, Blood is known for his roles in Agents of SHIELD, Euphoria, Slow Horses and Joan.
Meanwhile, Hocking is best known for her role as Lauryn Lawrence in Top Boy, and has also starred in Moon Knight, Riches, Peacock and The Devil's Hour.
