Former child star Emma Watson has still got it. The actress – who rose to fame playing Hogwarts schoolgirl Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films – was stopped at US passport control after airport officials assumed she was a minor travelling alone.
Approaching the immigration desk wearing a backpack, 22-year-old Watson was identified as an unaccompanied child and asked where her guardian was.
The star – last seen in US coming-of-age drama The Perks of Being a Wallflower – took to Twitter to share the apparently traumatic experience with followers, tweeting: “Passport control: ‘Unaccompanied minor?’ Me: ‘Sorry?’ Passport control: ‘Where is ur guardian?’ Me: ‘I’m 22!!!!!!!’ #neverwearingabackpackagain.”
