Review

Rating: 2 out of 5.

The voices of Melanie Griffith, Rob Schneider and a brace of the lesser-known Baldwins feature in a cartoon cute enough for dino-mad younger kids, though not one that will likely linger long in their memories, nor those of accompanying grown-ups. Three kids get hurled back in time 65 million years, and discover that the dinosaurs are less Jurassic Park "jawsome" than Land before Time likeable. Most of them anyway. Mistaken for hatchlings, the kids soon discover that not all dinos are as cute and caring as the mama T rex that "adopts" them. Driven by some half-decent action scenes, Dino Time is no must-see, but it will comfortably while away a wet afternoon.
