David Attenborough’s Galapagos – 7:00pm, Sky1 and Sky3D

86-year-old David Attenborough has recently celebrated 60 years in broadcasting, but the TV naturalist shows no signs of slowing down. In the first of a three-part series, Attenborough heads to the Galapagos islands where he captures the pink iguana on film for the first time and records the final footage of the late Pinta Island tortoise, Lonesome George.

Miranda’s down in the dumps when her mother runs for ‘what I call’ local government and Gary introduces his perky new girlfriend, so she goes clubbing with Tilly and Stevie. But competitive dating, inappropriate singing and moustache-wearing ensures the night goes less than smoothly…

The start of a new series exploring the family life of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Although they presented a wholesome image of perfect family life to the nation, the couple had a tempestuous relationship and their nine children were a “bitter disappointment” to the formidable Queen.

The Take That frontman welcomes some of his showbiz pals for a one-night-only musical spectacular at Manchester Apollo. Peter Kay, James Corden, Mark Owen, JLS and Nicole Scherzinger all join in the fun in front of a sell-out audience.
