Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line-up rumours: who will be the celebrity contestants this year?

The One Show presenters have an excellent track record on Strictly Come Dancing, from Alex Jones to Matt Baker. So could newcomer Michelle Ackerley be ready to follow in their dancing footsteps?

Not only is she already a familiar face on TV (The One Show, Crimewatch Roadshow, Watchdog) but she has actually admitted she wants to do Strictly.

“I’d love to go on Strictly Come Dancing,” she told RadioTimes.com in June. And when asked about whether she’d told the producers she was keen, she only replied: “Well – you know. We’ll see.”

Ackerley added: “I think every presenter at some point wants to do Strictly Come Dancing. It’s just so glam, and fantastic costumes, and everything.”
