Becky (Martha Howe-Douglas)
Two years after she helped Gemma uncover his affair, Simon’s secretary is still living and working in Parminster.
Where have you seen her before? Howe-Douglas had a 201-episode run on Doctors as receptionist Donna Parmar. She also appeared in multiple historical guises in Horrible Histories and as Debbie in Yonderland, and appeared in the film Bill, made by the same people behind those two shows.
James Mohan (Prasanna Puwanarajah)
One of Gemma’s newest patients, James takes something of an extra interest in his GP.
Where have you seen him before? Puwanarajah appeared in You, Me and the Apocalypse and had roles in Silk, The Vote, New Tricks, Critical and Cold Feet.
Sian (Sian Brooke)
The newest addition to Parminster’s GP surgery is already rubbing Gemma up the wrong way.
Where have you seen her before? Brooke has had numerous single episode appearances in shows since the turn of the millennium, as well as more regular parts in shows that didn’t quite take off such as Cape Wrath and Not Safe for Work. This year, however, she was given a chance to shine in the role of the sinister sister Eurus Holmes in Sherlock’s fourth season, as well as starring in The Moorside alongside Sheridan Smith, which told the story of the disappearance of Shannon Matthews.
