Nathaniel Martello-White – DS Nathan Bilk
Who does he play? DS Nathan Bilk is Kip Glaspie’s second-in-command.
Where have I seen him before? Most recently, Nathaniel Martello-White played Ade in the Channel 4 Jack Thorne series Kiri. He’s also appeared in Silk, Death in Paradise, Misfits, and Guerrilla.
Ben Miles – DSU Jack Haley
Who does he play? Jack Haley is DI Kip Glaspie’s boss in the police force.
Where have I seen him before? Ben Miles appeared as Princess Margaret’s lover Group Captain Peter Townsend in Netflix’s The Crown. He also starred in The Last Post as Harry Markham and has credits including Lark Rise to Candleford, The Promise, and Cold Feet.
Vineeta Rishi – DC Rakhee Shah
Who does she play? DC Rakhee Shah works with Kip and Nathan.
Where have I seen her before? Vineeta Rishi starred in Doctors as Dr Jas Khella. Since leaving the show in 2013, she has been in Line of Duty, Boy Meets Girl, Three Girls and The Boy with the Topknot.
Ahd Kamel – Fatima Asif
Who does she play? Fatima is a refugee and the sister of murdered pizza delivery boy Abdullah. She recently arrived in the UK after a treacherous journey from the Middle East.
Where have I seen her before? Saudi actress Ahd Kamel appeared in the critically-acclaimed movie Wadjda. Her debut film The Shoemaker (2009) was named Best Short Film at the Beirut International Film Festival.
Kim Medcalf – Suki Vincent
Who does she play? Suki Vincent has finally had enough of her boyfriend David Mars always prioritising the Labour Party over their relationship.
Where have I seen her before? It’s Sam from EastEnders! Since she left Albert Square in 2005, Kim Medcalf has appeared in Harley Street, Missing, and The Fixer. She has also been on stage in Hay Fever and Crazy For You.
