Episode 3: Guz Khan

Summary

Big Zuu is going regal as he heads to Royal Leamington Spa to meet and eat with comedian and actor Guz Khan. Leamington was once a place Queen Victoria visited, now it's the mandems turn

Review

Rapper and chef Zuhair Hassan, aka Big Zuu, continues his series combining chat with quick, flavoursome food. Tonight’s location is Leamington Spa, where Zuu looks in on a stand-up gig by Man like Mobeen star and resident of nearby Coventry, Guz Khan. In a very funny introductory interview, Khan – whose impersonations of white middle-class people are cruelly accurate – recalls bad school-dinner puddings and the even worse main courses he made himself when he was left to cook alone as a child.

Zuu gets to work on vastly improved versions of these dishes, while taking on board a request for some vegetarian fare. The results are a tasty dinner and another easily flowing conversation with the constantly entertaining Khan.
