Team GB will not leave Beijing empty handed after Bruce Mouat and Eve Muirhead skipped the men's and women's curling teams into the gold medal matches respectively.

Mouat and his team are guaranteed a silver medal at the very least, but their form at the 2022 Winter Olympics puts them right in frame for gold in the final showdown against Sweden.

The women's event has been a far more tense affair for Team GB but experienced skip Muirhead came through a wild, epic semi-final showdown with Sweden on Friday.

Curling is one of the most popular events of the Winter Olympics 2022 and it could be about to become the most important one of all from a Team GB perspective.
