Launching on 15th September, the BBC’s Doctor Who Game Maker app will let you create your own video game featuring the Doctor, his friends and his many notorious enemies.

Promising an “enormous” range of different possible games, “from the simple to the staggering” – as well as appearances by Missy, the Cybermen, the Daleks and new foes who are set to debut in the upcoming ninth series of Doctor Who – the Game Maker even features video tutorials from the Doctor’s Sontaran ally Strax.

Once your game is live, you’ll be able to share it with others. And if you’re more of a gamer than a game maker, you’ll be free to just get stuck in to everyone else’s creations.

The Doctor Who Game Maker is part of the BBC’s Make It Digital initiative and follows two recent BBC online Who games, Mission Dalek and The Doctor and the Dalek.

Visit bbc.co.uk/doctorwho on 15th September to get started.
