Tonight's the night, folks! The Game Awards 2025 is kicking off soon, and Geoff Keighley is about to download a giant ZIP-file of trailers straight into the gaming industry's mind.

Of course, there's also the small matter of giving out some awards. Will Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 run rampant again like it did at The Golden Joystick Awards last month? Only time, and the patience to sit through 50 world premieres, will tell!

In the build-up, everyone has been trying to guess which games will be revealed in the marketing component of the evening. Our gracious host Geoff posted about a mysterious statue in the Mojave Desert, but we can tick this one off our list as it is now (mostly) solved!

Of course, who can forget the hype and hopium of last month, when Valve announced a slew of new hardware, which caused many to speculate that a Half-Life 3 announcement was imminent. Who knows? Perhaps Gabe Newell will return to port after giving his new superyacht a spin.

On that topic, perhaps Valve will actually reveal the price of the new hardware, but given how much the price of memory modules is soaring, that seems unlikely.

Another spoiled surprise may be the official reveal that Leon S. Kennedy is to be the second playable protagonist of Resident Evil Requiem, as the PlayStation Store let slip recently.

We know for certain that we'll get to see what the future of Tomb Raider will look like, as it's been confirmed that an announcement is to be made during the event.

Speaking of iconic characters and what their future will look like, there's rumblings that James Bond: 007 First Light will feature in the show somehow.

What we don't know is whether or not we will see more of Hideo Kojima's O.D. or an official announcement of Death Stranding 2 on PC, which the US age classification board ESRB blew the lid off recently.

In Microsoft land, we've had some glimpses of the new Fable and a teaser for Forza Horizon 6, so it would be good to see more of those, too. Perhaps it will be revealed that Forza Horizon 6 will release day-and-date on PlayStation 5.

And finally, we've had some in-depth playthroughs of The Blood of Dawnwalker, so perhaps it's time for a little release date announcement...

With all that said, let's see what we do know about The Game Awards 2025 and how and when to watch it!
