Sheridan Smith to front "lavish" ITV "extravaganza" celebrating her music, life and career
The one-off ITV show is called Sheridan, for obvious reasons
Actress, singer and West End star Sheridan Smith is to appear in Sheridan, her own "lavish" one-off special on ITV, which will see her performing songs from her new album alongside other musical numbers, all accompanied by a live orchestra, as well as chatting about her life, "stratospheric career and status as a national treasure".
It's enough to give a girl a big head.

"With such a stellar career as an actor, it's easy to forget that Sheridan is also a wonderful singer," said ITV Entertainment's creative boss Lee Connolly. "With brilliant performances in ITV's Cilla and as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl it reminded us why Sheridan is such a special and unique performer and we are delighted to be making this one off special with her.”
Here's hoping there will also be copious clips from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
