Awards season has come round again to shake off the January blues! First up is the Golden Globe Awards, which celebrates another fantastic year of film and television.
There’s lots to look forward to, with the likes of Sinners, Frankenstein and Wicked: For Good all up for awards this year. In the heart of Beverly Hills, the star-packed ceremony is always a night to remember and could well indicate who will be going home with Oscars in two months' time.

When are the Golden Globe Awards 2026?
The 83rd Golden Globe Awards take place on Sunday 11th January 2026 at 8pm Eastern Time (1am in the UK). The ceremony will be held at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
Can you watch the Golden Globe Awards 2026 in the UK?
The awards will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ in the US but won’t be available for UK viewers.
However, highlights from the event will be available to watch on the Golden Globes’ social media accounts as they happen. So you can still stay up to date with the action!
How to watch the Golden Globe Awards 2026 in the US
US viewers who have access to cable can tune into the CBS channel and watch the ceremony live. The awards will also be streamed on Paramount+.
The ceremony will become available on demand for other subscribers the following day.
Who is the host of the Golden Globes 2026?
After charming audiences last year, comedian Nikki Glaser is returning to host the 2026 ceremony.
If 2025's show is anything to go by, we can expect plenty more jokes poking fun at the audience of A-listers.
Who is nominated at the Golden Globe Awards 2026?
The full list of nominees was confirmed back in December, with One Battle After Another leading the charge with nine nods.
Other big films receiving multiple nominations include Sentimental Value, Sinners, Hamnet, and Frankenstein.
Wicked: For Good also received a number of nominations, although was unexpectedly absent in the best musical category. Wicked star Cynthia Erivo will not be attending the ceremony due to scheduling issues, Variety reports.
The White Lotus dominated the TV categories, with Adolescence also receiving multiple nods. Following its slew of nominations in 2025, The Bear is among the TV shows nominated for three or more awards.
