IKEA is coming to Pokémon Pokopia later this week
Gotta build 'em all!

Pokémon Pokopia players looking to add a touch of Swedish charm to their islands are about to get just that with a new IKEA collaboration.
Since its launch earlier this month, Pokopia has quickly risen to become an unlikely game of the year contender, going so far as to rival Resident Evil Requiem for the highest critic rating on Metacritic.
Now, to celebrate a game that is, in many ways, about furniture and decoration, it is perhaps fitting that Swedish homeware titan IKEA is set to get in on the action.
IKEA Japan will be running a promotion from 1 April in which players will be able to "experience what it's like to live in a home designed by IKEA's designers".
By inputting a special code, players will be able to visit 'IKEA Island', where you'll find rooms decorated by those very same designers, inspired by Pikachu and Snorlax.

Like with the Developer Island, players will be able to scan the items they find on IKEA Island to replicate back home in their own world.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like some of IKEA's iconic furniture will be making their way into the game, so there will be no Pokémon Poang available, we're afraid.
However, fans in Japan will be able to visit IKEA's Pokopia island in real life too, with IKEA Japan set to recreate the rooms in-store for fans to visit, or perhaps even take home with them.
IKEA Japan stores will also feature a stamp rally, themed food and photo spots, and the chance to win stickers and take part in giveaways.
The collaboration will be Pokopia's first crossover, and the second in-game event following the recent More Spores for Hoppip event.
As well as this crossover, players can look forward to the Sableye event which kicks off at the end of April.
