Star Wars left a nice advert to say thanks to Ireland for letting them film
Good manners cost nothing

Well, this is classy. After spending a few weeks filming Star Wars Episode VIII in Irish coastal town Crookhaven, West Cork, Lucasfilm have left a lovely goodbye note to say thanks for the hospitality – oh, and published it in the Irish Examiner newspaper.

We’re not sure what we love more – the patriotic green colouring, the warmth of the message or the fact that they translated “May the force be with you” into Gaelic – but suffice to say it’s proof that good manners didn’t die along with the Jedi.
Star Wars Episode VIII will be released in December 2017
