The new owners of EastEnders' beloved watering hole, The Queen Victoria pub, have finally been revealed.

With the support of her mum and business partner Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) decided to auction the place to the highest bidder.

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) was all set to give Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) the £100K sum of the late Martin Fowler's (James Bye) life insurance for the sale.

Then Alfie (Shane Richie) told Stace that he needed the cash to secure the safety of Kat's troubled daughter Zoe (Michelle Ryan), who was in danger from some dodgy men.

Stacey took back her offer to a confused Kat, but when Jean (Gillian Wright) mistakenly believed that Alfie was helping out Hayley Slater (Katie Jarvis), mother of his daughter Cherry, Jean convinced Stacey she was better off using the money on Kat.

With Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) also desperate to buy The Vic as he went up against a property developer, Stacey rushed over to tell Kat their plan was back on.

In her nightwear, Kat accosted Linda in the Square, just as a deal was about to be done with the developer.

As Linda admitted that all she wanted was for the pub to be run by a family, with plenty of kids living in the building, Stacey reminded her that they had loads of them!

As the property developer looked on and Ian expressed his own disappointment, Linda told Kat and Stacey that the place was theirs.

The Slaters celebrated, and after they agreed to house swap with the Carters while the sale went through, Elaine decided to gift the cruise place she had booked for Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) to Linda instead.

While Linda will spill the beans about daughter Annie's paternity to the little girl's half-brother Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), how will landlady Kat fare on her first day in charge?

And as Stacey informed Alfie that the money was gone, can he save Zoe?
