Leanne Amaning appeared on season 6, the first iteration of winter Love Island back in 2020, and was coupled up with Mike Boateng since day one of the villa before famously developing "the ick".

She was dumped from the Love Island villa on day 18 after Mike decided to couple up with Sophie Piper instead of her.

What has Leanne Amaning done since Love Island 2020?

Since then, Leanne has appeared on Ex on the Beach and was also reportedly part of the holding cast for last year's All Stars, but quit the show before entering the villa.

She said at the time: "The more the show went on the less it made sense for me to go in there and the less I wanted to."

Why is Leanne Amaning returning for Love Island All Stars?

Heading into the villa, Leanne wants to be "open in the way that I should have been in series 6".

She explained further: "I think I’m older and wiser, six years to be precise! A lot changes, I know what I want now and I’m much more logical and level headed.

"I didn't even know myself before but now I’m dating from a completely different perspective."

Love Island: All Stars returns on Monday 12th January at 9pm on ITV2.
