The Lincoln Lawyer season 5: Release date speculation and latest news
Will Mickey Haller be taking on another case?

After a longer than usual wait, the fourth season of hit Netflix drama The Lincoln Lawyer is finally here, with Mickey taking on his toughest case yet.
The new season, which once again stars Manuel Garcia Rulfo, sees Mickey and his team working to prove his own innocence, when his former client, Sam Scales, is murdered.
But will this prove to be Mickey's final case on screen, or will the Netflix show be back to adapt more of Michael Connelly's book series?

Will there be The Lincoln Lawyer season 5?

There will! A fifth season of The Lincoln Lawyer was confirmed in January 2026, before season 4 had even debuted.
Co-showrunners and executive producers Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said in a statement: "We’re so excited to share the upcoming fourth season with the audience on February 5th and even more excited to share the news that we’re already hard at work on the next one.
"Season 4 is the most challenging and intensely personal journey we’ve taken Mickey Haller on yet, and we’re thrilled and grateful to be able to continue the ride in Season 5."
The new season is set to be based on the seventh novel in Michael Connelly's Lincoln Lawyer book series, Resurrection Walk.
The blurb for that book, which could act as a guide for what fans can expect from the new season, says: "Defense attorney Mickey Haller - The Lincoln Lawyer - is inundated with pleas from prisoners protesting their innocence. With the help of ex-LAPD detective Harry Bosch, they find a needle in the haystack: a possible wrongful conviction.
"A woman imprisoned for murdering her husband, a sheriff's deputy. But the evidence doesn't add up, the department pushed for quick closure in the killing of one of its own. But is this rushed justice - or something more sinister?
"As they face a David versus Goliath court battle, the secrets which could set an innocent woman free could also be worth killing for..."
When will The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 be released?

We don't yet know when The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 will be released, but based on precedent with previous seasons we'd imagine it may arrive slightly over a year after season 4.
This has been the case for all of the previous runs, with the gap between seasons 3 and 4 being the largest thus far, at one year and four months.
Given this, a summer 2027 release date seems likely - however, we will keep this page updated with any more concrete news as we get it.
Who will star in The Lincoln Lawyer season 5?

We don't yet know exactly who will star in The Lincoln Lawyer season 5, but we are certainly expecting the main cast to be back, including Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Becki Newton and Jazz Raycole.
There will also, no doubt, be a host of guest stars added, as has been the case for each season. Given that the plot of the book on which season 5 is based features Harry Bosch in a prominent role, could we see a crossover with Prime Video's Bosch series, and Titus Welliver join the cast? Only time will tell.
For now, here's a full list of the cast members we would currently expect to return for The Lincoln Lawyer season 5:
- Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller
- Becki Newton as Lorna Crane
- Jazz Raycole as Izzy Letts
- Angus Sampson as Dennis 'Cisco' Wojciechowski
- Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson
- Elliott Gould as David 'Legal' Siegel
- Krista Warner as Hayley Haller
