It's time to say goodbye to Outlander.
It's the week that Outlander fans have both been excited for and silently dreading because while we do get brand new episodes of the hit drama, they will be the very last.
The eighth and final season is set to be an emotional farewell to our cast, which as ever is led by Sam Heughan and Caitríona Balfe as Jamie and Claire.
While we have a way to go yet until the final episode, the ending of Outlander is obviously something we're all wondering about. Executive producer Maril Davis remarked to Radio Times and other press: "You don’t want your whole eight years or eight seasons to come down to that one episode, but it is kind of the one episode that people remember and that’s the last thing you have."

When did Outlander season 8 premiere on MGM+?
Outlander season 8 premiered on MGM+ in the UK on Saturday 7 March 2026, one day after it debuts in the US on STARZ on Friday 6 March.
That means that going forward, episodes will be released on Saturdays here in the UK and on Fridays in the US.
