House of the Dragon star joins Richard Armitage in "captivating" new international police drama
Filming on the new ITV drama has kicked off.

Further casting has been announced for ITV’s forthcoming police drama Winter, with House of the Dragon star Jamie Kenna joining the ranks.
Based on the long-running French crime series Balthazar, the series stars Richard Armitage as Ethan Winter, an unconventional forensic pathologist, and Annabel Scholey as DI Lauren Bell, a no-nonsense detective, who are working together on a case in Bristol and make a formidable team.
But there’s a catch: beneath the case lies an unsolved murder that’s dangerously close to home and haunts Dr Winter’s every move.
Other newcomers to the cast alongside Kenna include Carlotta Banat (Heads of State, 3 Body Problem), Josh Barrow (Hostage, Vera, Dear England), Adwoa Akoto (The Sandman, Surface) and Jay Taylor (Manhunt, Ten Percent, Broken Bird).
Rishi Rian (Ridley, Damaged), Deirdre Mullins (Bad Sisters, The Couple Next Door), Ellis Elijah (Mammoth) and Evie Coles (The Lady Grace Mysteries) have also joined the cast.

At present, details of their roles remain under wraps.
Winter will be directed by Dries Vos (The Couple Next Door, Professor T) and Kaat Beels (Professor T, The Twelve), while Matt Baker (Professor T) will produce. Jo McGrath and Walter Iuzzolino will executive produce the series on behalf of Eagle Eye Drama.
The show has been adapted for screen by David Allison (The Couple Next Door) and Mark Greig (Ashes to Ashes).
Filming is now underway on the series in Bristol and Belgium.
