Death in Paradise spoiler pictures show Selwyn back in action and a Mervin mishap
The BBC murder mystery returns this week.

Order has been firmly restored in Death in Paradise season 15, with Selwyn back in his rightful role as commissioner.
Don Warrington's character looked to be on his way out last season when he was replaced by a young – and extremely smug – buck. Of course the chief commissioner did eventually see the error of his ways and offered Selwyn his job back, but he wasn't initially interested.
After the team roped him into helping solve a particularly baffling case in last year's Christmas special, however, Selwyn changed his mind and is now back where he belongs – although normal order hasn't quite been resumed.
"Commissioner Selwyn Patterson confronts the impact of his recent absence and, after some tough love from old friend Catherine Bordey, becomes determined to win back the trust of the island," reads the official synopsis.

Elsewhere, Mervin will come face to face with his half-brother Solomon for the very first time. The detective initially travelled to Saint Marie to meet his mother, only to be devastated by the discovery that she had been murdered – prompting him to stay and solve that mystery.

But just as he was about to head back to London after bringing the perpetrators to justice, Mervin discovered he had a sibling and, after some deliberation, decided he couldn't leave without meeting him.

However, "his newfound familial happiness soon gives way to frustration as he realises the pair are not quite as alike as he'd hoped".
And in next week's episode, that tension appears to result in a confrontation of sorts, which ends with a fully clothed Mervin either falling – or being pushed – into a swimming pool.
You can't choose your family, and all that...

But it's not just Mervin's personal life which tests him in season 15.
The team also "face a myriad of baffling cases", while new sergeant Mattie Fletcher, who has replaced Ginny Holder's Darlene Curtis, "comes with a little bit of baggage", as teased by Gilet.
Naomi and Seb are tasked with helping her "settle into the fold", but that's "easier said than done as shadows from her past begin to emerge".

Joining the main cast, as ever, is a new line-up of guest stars, including Happy Valley favourite Siobhan Finneran and EastEnders' original Vicki Fowler star Scarlett Alice Johnson alongside Spooks' Hermione Norris, Gavin & Stacey's Steffan Rhodri and Ghosts co-creator and star Ben Willbond.
Rounding out the guest cast for season 15 are Sarah Hadland (Horrible Histories), Gary Wilmot (Midsomer Murders), Tim McMullan (Shakespeare in Love), Julian Rhind-Tutt (Green Wing), Ace Bhatti (Malpractice), Louis Davison (Vikings: Valhalla), Sean Delaney (Killing Eve), Lizzie Davidson (Such Brave Girls), Kojo Kamara (The Outlaws), Layo-Christina Akinlude (The Stolen Girl), Sandra James-Young (Wild Cherry), Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge (Rematch) and Phoebe Sparrow and Antonia Bernath (both Downton Abbey).
