Friends gets new UK streaming availability date confirmed after Netflix departure
The show left Netflix in December.

Friends has a new UK streaming home following the series’ departure from Netflix – and we now know when it will arrive there.
The show, which had been a mainstay on Netflix since 2018, left the streamer in December due to the expiration of licensing agreements.
But those who want to watch (or rewatch) the series are in luck, as American streaming platform HBO Max is set to launch in the UK and Ireland on 26th March 2026 – and all episodes of Friends will be available.
The platform will offer shows such as the critically acclaimed US medical drama The Pitt, as well as the hotly-anticipated new seasons of Euphoria and House of the Dragon.
HBO Max will also be the home of the upcoming Harry Potter TV series, and new DC Studios drama Lanterns.

It will also offer a number of big films including Superman, One Battle After Another, Sinners, A Minecraft Movie and Dune: Part One, and host TNT Sports in the UK from launch.
Alongside Friends, existing shows in the catalogue will include Succession, The Sopranos and Game of Thrones.
Subscription prices will begin at £4.99 per month for a basic package with ads, up to £30.99 per month for a sports subscription package, which gives subscribers access to TNT Sports.
