When is the next Fortnite live event? Date and details confirmed
What is on the horizon for Fortnite with Chapter 6 Season 2 only around the corner?

Fortnite is constantly staging massive events, but none of them are as big as their regular live events.
It could be a huge crossover or a continuation of Fortnite's wild and wacky in-game lore, but whatever it is, you know Epic Games is going to go all out on it.
We've seen crossovers with some huge artists like Snoop Dogg and Ariana Grande, and we've even watched the universe end at one point, so you don't want to miss out on the next one.
As we approach Chapter 6 Season 4, read on to find out when the Season 3 live event is and what it's going to be about.
When is the next Fortnite live event?
The next Fortnite Live Event will take place on 7th June 2025.
Here in the UK, it will start at 7pm BST in the evening of Saturday 7th June.
As part of Chapter 6 Season 3's Star Wars crossover event - Fortnite: Galactic Battle - Fortnite has rolled out a five-part saga with each week covering a different theme.
This has all led up to a finale dubbed Death Star Sabotage, in which players will be tasked with taking down the Death Star, piloting X-wings and TIE Fighters during the big battle.
You'll be able to join the event in parties of up to four players, so make sure you grab a few friends to take part!
When was the last Fortnite live event?

The most recent Fortnite live event took place between 8th - 18th April 2025 as part of Chapter 6 Season 2.
Dubbed The Portal Phase Event, this mini live event took place in five stages across the 10-day period as part of the Fletcher Kane storyline.
During the event, a portal grew in size over time, as Fletcher teamed up with Daigo to power up the portal in order to enter the Spirit Realm.
We've still not seen how this event ends, and with the next live event being Star Wars-related, perhaps we won't get a conclusive answer until Chapter 6 Season 4.
How to join a Fortnite live event

To experience the next Fortnite live event, it's best to join a game of Battle Royale before the event is due to begin to experience it in its entirety.
In preparation for events, Epic often takes down Fortnite experiences (like creator mode) until the event's conclusion as it begins to work on implementing the update.
We suspect it will play out much the same way for the next live event, though we'd recommend logging on at least a couple of hours early if you are serious about attending it.
That said, the latest one had an in-game timer surrounding masks that lit up one day at a time. Once the final mask lit up, the live event began. So it can change from event to event.
As the most popular game in the world, Fortnite commonly receives huge queues as players attempt to sign on to Epic's servers, so whatever you do, always sign on early to not miss out.
Fortnite is available via the Epic Games Store across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
