How much will the PS5 Pro cost for Black Friday 2025?

The PS5 Pro came out in 2024, so by the completely arbitrary laws of gaming that should mean a big Black Friday discount is on the way.

The console was released as a premium version of the PS5 Slim with advanced ray tracing, super sharp image clarity, and high frame rate gameplay, all making up its nearly £700 price tag.

The device wasn't discounted last year as it was so new, while the older Slim console saw discounts of up to £80. However, this year we're expecting change, and the early signs are encouraging.

Right now you can get £30 off the PS5 Pro and there are already a few decent games bundles kicking about, all before the official PlayStation Black Friday sale kicks off.

The PS5 Pro has an RRP (Recommended Retail Price) of £699.99, so anything above this price is not a genuine saving.

Will the PS5 Pro go on sale in the UK this Black Friday?

Judging by early deals, yes, we reckon the PS5 Pro will go on sale this Black Friday.

This Amazon Prime Day the console was reduced by £20 and now we've seen a £30 discount from retail brand Very – so all signs point to a good discount. What's more, PlayStation have a history of putting out a Black Friday discount on the previous year's console, so in 2024 they had a £80 saving on the PS5 Slim, which came out in 2023.

Normally, PlayStation's deals come out the week before Black Friday, known as Fake Black Friday, so this year you might want to set your calendars for the 21st.

The PS5 Slim has seen many discounts this year, so we're expecting another big saving for Black Friday.

In 2024 the new console was reduced by £80 across both Disc and Digital versions and since then it's been dropped by up to £100 in subsequent sales. Right now, we've already seen the Digital version reduced from £429.99 to £399.99 at Very.
