The 62-year-old is hitting theatres with her brand-new album Living the Dream, which is due for release next spring.

McDonald's dates include Manchester AO Arena, Birmingham Utilita and the London Palladium.

In the Instagram announcement for the tour she said: "I’m thrilled to announce Living The Dream, my brand-new album and UK tour for 2026!

"Out in March 2026, Living The Dream was recorded at Nashville’s legendary Blackbird Studios and is packed with new original tracks and four reworkings of some of my favourite Country classics. I’ve always loved Country music and its storytelling, and I can’t wait to share this with you!

"The Living The Dream Tour will start in August 2026, and I’ll be travelling all around the UK. I can’t wait to get back on that stage to sing some new songs, as well as all your favourites!"

With a career spanning more than two decades, McDonald has well earned her status as a national treasure, capturing hearts with her albums, TV presenting, and cruise ship performances.
