The actor has previously proven that he can put a brilliant twist on Harry Potter’s best pal on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and last night he reprised the role, just in time to wish the Boy Who Lived an early Happy Birthday.

Believe it or not, Harry officially turns 35 this Friday (31st July) and his old pal Ron couldn’t let the occasion go unmarked.

It seems the years haven’t been overly kind to Pegg’s incarnation of the character, who now takes his swigs straight from the bottle before leading the audience in a rousing rendition of “Weasley is our king”.

It’s a big change from the Happy Birthday sing-a-long he started when he appeared on the show in the same guise back in 2013.
