5 EastEnders spoilers next week
1. Nicola Mitchell pushes George Knight away after baby Ivy's birth

Nicola is in isolation as she recovers from giving birth to Ivy, and she's increasingly frustrated over not being able to see her baby.
While visiting NICU, George is offered skin-to-skin contact with their daughter, but he declines as he wants Nicola to be first.
Nicola, however, blames George for the situation, convinced he's been too distracted by Knight Fusion. Nicola is determined to see her little girl, and later she finally holds Ivy for the first time.

George watches the touching sight, and tells Nicola he loves her; but she doesn't say it back. Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) hears what happened and urges Nicola not to let her past ruin her future.
Worn out and tired as the week goes on, a now discharged Nicola visits Ivy with George, and they struggle to leave her.
Eventually, we see Nicola soften towards George. Will they make a go of things, and can Nicola let go of her demons?
2. Penny Branning makes a huge decision to cover her pregnancy secret

Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) gives Penny food for thought over her predicament with Harry and Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota).
When she sees a softer side to Harry, Penny asks cousin Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier) for help.

Later in the week, Penny visits Nicola and shares the fake DNA results with her.
As Penny fears Nicola will see through her lie, will Nicola buy it? And what does the fake result actually say?
3. Will Jasmine Fisher be found guilty of Anthony Trueman's murder?

Believing that Patrick Trueman's (Rudolph Walker) statement could put her at risk, Richie Scott (Sian Webber) urges Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) to give Jasmine a character reference in court.
Kat refuses, but as Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) fears Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan) will leave if Jasmine is found guilty, Kat reconsiders.

Josh is torn between Patrick and Jasmine, so decides to visit his sister for the truth. Kat continues to worry as the pressure to defend Jasmine threatens her fragile bond with Zoe, while the Slaters and Truemans are at odds as the trial begins.
Sandra Goodwin (Dawn Steele) tells Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) and Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) that she and Josh have been offered a place in Southend, and are planning to take it.

Jasmine and Zoe remain unaware of this news as Kat asks Sandra more about Jasmine's childhood, and later, Kat takes the stand.
Soon it's time for Jasmine to decide whether to testify, or plead guilty for a shorter sentence. What will she do?

The verdict is in by the end of the week, but will Jasmine be found guilty?
In The Queen Vic, Kat makes a big declaration as she hopes to find a way forward, but we'll just have to wait and see how the family fares after a dramatic week.

4. Ross Marshall and Vicki Fowler face a rocky future amid Zack Hudson spark as Joel is sentenced

Ahead of the latest twists for Ross, it's a playful start to the week as he and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) plan to renovate the late Martin Fowler's (James Bye) shed into a man cave; but first they need to get hold of the keys, which Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) currently has.
Zack Hudson (James Farrar) initially thinks the men's plan is disrespectful, but after a chat with Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman), Zack realises Martin would have approved.
Zack helps persuade Jean, but then she discovers Ross and Harvey trying to steal the keys!

Even so, the clean-up of the shed gets underway, during which Ross confides in his mates that he's paranoid about Vicki since her confession that she slept with another man.
Zack tries to hide his guilt and warn Vicki, but is interrupted when Ross arrives with news of Joel's sentencing.
Ross and Vicki discuss Joel's future, and despite her uncertainty, Vicki is determined that she and Ross will work through this together.

But when Joel's sentencing is confirmed, the reality of the situation hits home.
Zack pushes Vicki to be honest about her feelings, and she admits to some hesitation which leads Ross to make an ill-judged comparison.

Vicki storms out in response, but will she commit to a future with Ross after this latest bump in the road?
And with unresolved feelings lingering between Vicki and Zack, is it really all over between them?
5. Elaine Peacock's campaign strengthens while opponent Ian Beale makes a date

Elaine's campaign event draws strong support from the locals, while Ian's turnout disappoints in comparison.
Despite being questioned about his marital past by a journalist (where on earth do they start?) Ian agrees to a date with Bea Pollard (Ronni Ancona). Will he wish he'd steered clear?

Elaine is in her element, but tensions between her daughter Linda (Kellie Bright) and grandson Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) show no sign of thawing.
Will Elaine turn her attention to mending the family rift?
