The Doctor Who actress has joined the cast as part of a starry roster of additions, including Joanna Lumley (Hester Frump), Steve Buscemi (Barry Dort) and even actual Lady Gaga, who will appear in a guest role.

While Piper's role was kept under wraps at first, she makes quite the entrance into season 2.

Here's everything you need to know about Piper's character Isadora Capri.

Who is Isadora Capri in Wednesday season 2?

Isadora Capri is Nevermore's new music teacher. She used to be an accomplished musician herself and has now turned her talents to teaching.

Season 2 episode 1 sees her encounter Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) for the first time, making it clear that she can easily hit back at Wednesday's cutting barbs.

Piper previously told Radio Times that Isadora is an "accomplished musician who ends up teaching at Nevermore - and has an interesting past of her own", hinting that her backstory could have a big role to play.

Meanwhile, Netflix has also confirmed that Isadora is a werewolf and will mentor Wednesday's best friend, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers).

Who plays Isadora Capri in Wednesday season 2?

Isadora Capri is played by iconic British actress and former pop star Billie Piper.

Arguably best known for playing Rose Tyler in Doctor Who, Piper returned to the sci-fi this year, with Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor unexpectedly - and inexplicably - regenerating into her.

Piper has also starred as Belle de Jour in Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Brona Croft/Lily in Penny Dreadful, and she created and starred in the series I Hate Suzy.

Wednesday season 2 part 2 will stream from Wednesday 3rd September on Netflix. Sign up for Netflix from £5.99 a month. Netflix is also available on Sky Glass and Virgin Media Stream.
