Taskmaster unveils cast for season 21 including Gavin & Stacey icon
Who will win Greg's golden head this time round?

After much excitement in Taskmaster's New Year Treat, the series has now confirmed which five famous faces will be facing the challenge next.
Taskmaster season 21's line-up is stand-up comedian Amy Gledhill, The Thick of It and The Day Today creator Armando Iannucci, Gavin & Stacey actress Joanna Page, The Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett and Silicon Valley and Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani.
They have signed up to leave all dignity at the door to impress the mighty Taskmaster Greg Davies in 2026, under the watchful eye of his assistant Little Alex Horne.
Find out more about the new Taskmaster cast in the video below:
In a Taskmaster first, there are not just one but two Oscar nominees in the line-up, with Iannucci and Nanjiani securing Academy Award screenplay nominations for their work on In the Loop and The Big Sick respectively.
The latest cast follow in the footsteps of Maisie Adam, who managed to take home the Taskmaster trophy in the most recent season after winning a tiebreak question against Ania Magliano and Phil Ellis following an unprecedented three-way tie.
And no doubt whoever wins the next run will be looking to join Mathew Baynton in a potential Champion of Champion of Champions, after the Ghosts star saw off Adam, Andy Zaltzman, John Robins and Sam Campbell in last month's showdown between the seasons 16 to 20 winners.

Later this month, Davies and Horne will bring a never-before-seen live version of Taskmaster to theatres across the east coast of America with Taskmaster Live On Stage.
And while there has yet to be an announcement about the future of the show beyond season 21, with no official word of a renewal from Channel 4, the series is widely expected to continue.
When asked about how long the show can run in an interview with US news station KTLA last month, Davies said: "We've always said we'll keep going while we're having fun and we're still having fun."
