What happened between Millie Court and Liam Reardon and why did they split up?
The couple met on Love Island in 2021.

Love Island: All Stars is back for a third season and the 12 contestants made up of former faces has now been confirmed, with Millie Court amongst them.
Millie first appeared on Love Island in 2021 where she won the show coupled up with Liam Reardon, and the pair quickly became one of the most loved couples in the show's history.
But there was trouble in paradise for the Love Island winners as the pair broke up, not once but twice.
Now, as Millie Court jets off to sunny South Africa to once again enter the Love Island villa for the All Stars show, it's time to discover exactly what happened between Mille and Liam and why they split up.
What happened between Millie and Liam and why did they break up?

Liam was an OG Islander on season 7 of Love Island in 2021 and Millie entered as a bombshell a few days later. The pair remained coupled up throughout their time in the villa, with just a slight indiscretion from Liam when he kissed Lillie Haynes in Casa Amor. Though, Millie quickly forgave him and the pair went on to win the season and split the £50,000 prize money.
After leaving the villa, Millie and Liam seemed to go from strength to strength. They regularly attended events together, shared photos of each other on their social media and were quick to move in with one another in their Essex home.
However, the news of the pair first splitting up came from a statement from Millie in July 2022, around a year after they met on Love Island.
In a statement posted to her Instagram account, Millie wrote: "Liam and I have decided to part ways. We both care about each other a lot, but we feel it's best to focus on ourselves and our individual growth."
Liam then went on to share his statement on Instagram, emphasising that the break-up was mutual and amicable: "I will remain Millie's biggest supporter in all that she does and I know she will also do amazing.
"We're both ready for new chapters and I'm excited for what's next. Again I just want to thank you all for supporting us on what's been an incredible journey."
Liam then confirmed he had moved out of their joint Essex house back to Wales whilst Millie kept living there until late 2022 before moving in with fellow Islander Chloe Burrows.
Speaking at that time of how he was dealing with the break-up, Liam said in an Instagram Q&A response: "Break-ups can be very hard and being in the public eye just make it that extra bit more difficult to deal with especially when you have rumours etc coming out and people judging your character off something which isn’t true."
He continued: "But I've been down and when you’re down you can either stay down or do what you can to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move forward. And that's what I'm doing."
Did Millie and Liam get back together?

The break-up seemed final when Liam appeared on Celebs Go Dating and Millie began being linked to Gogglebox star George Baggs, but in 2023, after about nine months since parting ways, the pair started spending time together again.
Initially they were seen on a getaway in the Lake District, where they were spotted collecting a pizza from Domino's, then in May 2023 a cruise ship singer shared a selfie with the duo captioned: "Love Island winners – Liam and Millie are sailing with us around Europe this week – what lovely people!" which seemed to confirm the couple were back together.
The duo never then explicitly confirmed their reunion but instead went for the soft launch approach; they began attending events together and posting couple photos on their social media.
In October 2024 they launched a joint podcast called Liam & Millie where they chatted about their life and relationships.
During this time, Liam remained living in Wales with Millie still in Essex and after a further two and a half years together they broke up for the second time in September 2025 with long-distance being the main issue.

Neither of them ever addressed the break-up, instead an anonymous source told The Sun: "Millie and Liam have tried so hard to make their relationship work but unfortunately, the distance was just too difficult, and they have sadly ended their relationship for a second time."
This time around, the split was allegedly initiated by Liam who "wasn't feeling it" anymore, according to a Daily Mail source.
A few weeks ago, only three months after they broke up, Liam appeared to be hinting at a new romantic connection after he shared a post from a romantic weekend at the Park View Hotel in Cardiff.
Now, Millie is going on the third season of Love Island: All Stars and has been exclaiming her gratitude for the experience she had on the show four years ago.
"I’m still the same person that I was four years ago; I’m going to stay true to myself as I did the first time, enjoy it, do a bit of flirting... it’s all going to be fun vibes," she added.
