ITV and Disney+ confirm 'first-of-its-kind' deal for hit shows like Love Island and The Bear
The partnership between the two brands is continuing.
A variety of hit TV shows and movies from Disney+ and ITVX will soon become available for viewers to watch on both platforms in a newly announced initiative between The Walt Disney Company and ITV.
In what has been described as a first-of-its-kind agreement, the initiative will see the respective streaming services join forces to expand viewer choice and celebrate the best of British and international storytelling.
Commencing on Wednesday 16th July, Disney+ customers in the UK will be able to stream some of ITV's most acclaimed scripted and unscripted content, including the likes of Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Love Island, Vera and The 1% Club to name a few.
And likewise for ITVX audiences, they will be introduced to a rotating mix of Disney+ shows and movies, billed A Taste of Disney+.
In the coming months, viewers will be introduced to the likes of The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and family favourites such as Lilo and Stitch: The Series and Phineas and Ferb at no extra cost.
ITVX has already become home to a wealth of Disney+ titles, with the likes of Renegade Nell and Extraordinary already available on the platform.
