All 10 episodes of The Night Agent season 3 are now available to watch on Netflix, with Peter Sutherland taking on a new high-stakes case and seeking to get out from under the thumb of 'The Broker', aka Jacob Monroe.

As fans binge their way through the new episodes, they will, no doubt, be wondering whether this is the last mission they'll get to see Gabriel Basso's hero go on, or whether he will be back for a fourth season.

So what do we know so far? Has the series been renewed and when would new episodes likely debut? And who from the cast would be back for a new season?

Read on for everything you need to know about The Night Agent season 4.

Will there be The Night Agent season 4?

The Night Agent hasn't officially been renewed for a fourth season just yet, but it certainly seems like one is on the cards, and we could get an announcement any day now.

This is because Deadline reported back in November 2025 that the series had secured a $31.6 million (40%) California tax credit to relocate to Los Angeles, moving its action from New York, where seasons 2 and 3 were filmed.

The publication also reported that a writers room was already up and running at that point.

Season 3 was announced ahead of season 2 debuting, and while that hasn't been the case this time around, we would certainly expect to hear something about the show's future shortly, given all that has already been going on behind the scenes to get it ready for production.

We will keep this page updated with any concrete news as and when we get it.

When would a potential The Night Agent season 4 be released?

It's hard to say exactly when The Night Agent season 4 would arrive, given that it's not yet in production. Season 1 was released in March 2023 and was followed by a two-year gap.

Seasons 2 and 3 then arrived a year apart from one another, in January 2025 and February 2026 respectively.

It's clear that the team behind the show are trying to stick to a yearly release schedule, but whether that continues remains to be seen.

For now, we'd imagine that a spring 2027 might seem most likely - but that is, of course, speculation. We will keep this page updated with any news as we get it.

Who would return to star in a potential The Night Agent season 4?

If The Night Agent does return for a fourth season, then Gabriel Basso will no doubt be answering the call once again to play Peter Sutherland.

Meanwhile, we could also potentially expect key supporting characters played by the likes of Albert Jones and Fola Evans-Akingbola to be back.

Returns for Amanda Warren and Louis Herthum are far less likely, after their characters Catherine Weaver and Jacob Monroe were killed, while perhaps the biggest question mark hangs over Luciane Buchanan's Rose Larkin.

Rose was entirely absent from season 3, but both Buchanan and creator Shawn Ryan have teased that she could still reunite with Peter in a future season. We will just have to wait and see whether that's season 4, or a run of the show beyond that.

Here's a full list of the cast members we could potentially see back for The Night Agent season 4:

  • Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland
  • Albert Jones as Deputy Director Aiden Mosley
  • David Lyons as Adam
  • Fola Evans-Akingbola as Chelsea Arrington
  • Genesis Rodriguez as Isabel
  • Suraj Sharma as Jay Batra
  • Luciane Buchanan as Rose Larkin
