The third season of The Capture has kicked off in style, with a huge opening episode which saw two major twists right out of the gate.

Not only did Paapa Essiedu's character Isaac Turner make an early exit, getting assassinated by a highly skilled, lethal gunman, but Holliday Grainger's Rachel Carey found that her new boss, Noah Pierson, was the same man she saw shoot him.

How this will play out in future weeks is yet to be seen, but given the huge cliffhanger things were left on, fans will no doubt be desperate to see it for themselves. So when will episode 2 be released?

Read on for everything you need to know about the full release schedule for the rest of The Capture season 3.

There will be 6 episodes of The Capture season 3 in total.

This is the same number of episodes as in both seasons 1 and 2, which were released in 2019 and 2022 respectively.

Creator Ben Chanan told Radio Times that he started writing season 3 thinking it would be the last run of the show - however, he said he could no longer be certain that that would be the case.

"I see each season almost like a movie in itself, and the story within the season is concluded for sure - I hope it is," he said. "But you can't get rid of everybody and the door’s always ajar."
