Gangs of London star confirmed to lead dark new serial killer drama on Netflix
The series comes from the superstar producers of Leave the World Behind and Rustin.

Gangs of London star Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù has found his next major role in a high-profile book adaptation penned by the co-writer of Marvel's Black Panther films.
All the Sinners Bleed is based on the 2023 novel of the same name by author SA Cosby, which follows the first African American sheriff of a small Virginia town as he tracks a serial killer who has been targeting the local Black community.
The novel earned strong reviews upon release, with former US President Barack Obama among its advocates, including the title in his annual list of book recommendations that summer.
Obama's production company Higher Ground is teaming up with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television to bring this adaptation to the screen, with original author Cosby also billed as an executive producer on the project.
His source material has been handed to screenwriter Joe Robert Cole to adapt for the screen, with the scribe being best known for co-writing 2018's Black Panther and its sequel, Wakanda Forever, alongside Ryan Coogler.
No further casting has been announced at present, but Dìrísù's involvement alone is a promising start, with the actor coming off acclaimed turns in Sky's Gangs of London, Apple's Slow Horses and Mubi drama My Father's Shadow.
Next month, he'll also be joining Skeleton Crew's Jude Law and Ozark's Jason Bateman in Netflix miniseries Black Rabbit, which follows two estranged brothers as they attempt to keep their buzzy Manhattan restaurant afloat.

That project, which is co-created by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Zach Baylin (King Richard), will see Dìrísù play a musician and entrepreneur named Wes, who is associated with the titular nightlife spot.
If Black Rabbit and All the Sinners Bleed are hits, it could well turn Dìrísù into one of Netflix's most in-demand names, but it's unclear what that would mean for Sky and AMC co-production Gangs of London.
After a long absence, the third season debuted to a splashy marketing campaign in March 2025, but there hasn't yet been any word on whether a fourth chapter has received the green light – despite some big plot threads left to explore.
